{ more workshop! & teaching in person? }
Sign ups are now open for the second session of the Artistic Alchemy class!
This one starts August 11th. So if you missed out of the first one, here's your chance!
I'd really love to teach an in-person class....I have one already put together. I daydream about the supply packet and the fun and the laughter and all that...I want nothing more than to get together with a group of fun artsy people and create!
Does anyone have any advice on how to get something like this together? What kind of place I should go to? Anyone have someplace where I could possibly teach?

Come to my house and teach in my living room!! :o)

Hi there! Loving your class and it more than half finished already. :) I would try paper arts stores/scrapbook stores, and small art studios maybe? Also community education would maybe be a good one too to try.

Are you familiar with Art Unraveled? It takes place in Phoenix every year in August. I went last year on Shopping Day (Saturday) and was amazed. This is my first year to take classes. I don't know how instructors are selected. www.artunraveled.com

Hey there! I wish I could participate in your next class, but the hectic would prevent me from focusing on it as I should... So I'm definitely hoping for a next time.
I've been lurking about your blog here for a while now, having originally found you on youtube, and I always find something inspiring. Check out my blog http://kittyism-kittyismis.blogspot.com for a little surprise.

I'd definitely check out Hobby Lobby or Micheal's and see if they are open to you teaching a class. That would be good to get out on your 'resume' before moving on to bigger art retreats. Or perhaps check with your local recreation department. Perhaps you can get something going for one of their art programs.
Good luck to you :)
